Yellow cornmeal may be cooked as a cereal or used to make cornbread. It is a degermed cornmeal and fortified with vitamins. With it's long term shelf life expectancy it's a great item to add to your emergency food storage.
Shelf Life
Packaged in a plant that handles milk, wheat, eggs, soy, and tree nut products.
Ingredients: Yellow degermed ground corn, iron, niacin, thiamine, hydrochloride, and riboflavin.
Directions: May be cooked as a cereal. For corn bread: combine 1 cup cornmeal, 1 cup flour, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 tbs. baking powder, and 1 tsp. salt. Add 1 egg and 1 cup milk. Pour into greased 8" pan and bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes on buckets: Barometric pressure (elevation) can cause buckets to dent (concave or convex). Normally this is not a problem, buckets can be reshaped by removing the lid and pushing out any dents. Product remains sealed in the inner mylar bag until opened. See Packaging Details for more information.
