Emergency Food Alert

We are experiencing an unprecedented huge demand for storable food supplies at this time. Please take the time to read this page.

Right now, a gigantic demand for storable food is swiftly escalating higher and higher as world wide warnings of impending food shortages and the potential for war with Russia continue to escalate. The demand for food storage is rapidly increasing globally, and the wait times for storable food is expected to become quite long.

We advise the following:

1) If you plan to order any food storage, please order early. We have seen significant wait times in the past during peak demand (as long as 10 months - no kidding). Please read our current expected shipping times (updated frequently).

2) Extreme demands upon our time (and getting things done) requires us to ask you to order through the website so that we may serve as many people as possible. We are available to answer your questions, but please use the website for ordering.

3) Please read everything you can found on our site. Under the Information section are a number of pages, articles and sources for making an informed food choice.

4) Be patient, we are doing everything we can. There is still a huge labor shortage being experienced throughout the country and at the food canneries.

5) Mountain House announced no more dealer sales for their entire food line last year, for this reason we disabled all Mountain House products on our website because they cannot be replaced with any more inventory in a timely manner.

6) There are only a couple of storable food canneries in the United States. All storable food products comes from the same sources. We only know of three that are currently in full operation, which means that cannery capacity is already maxed out and will stay that way for a long time. Order early and be patient, everybody is going as fast as they can.

7) Numerous food products are disappearing and not returning to inventory. This is being caused by crop failures, high demand, labor shortages and planting problems including fertilizer prices. Everything is going up, fuel, fertilizer, and wholesale prices across the board. The food emergency is very real in many countries and is already leading to starvation which is driving a huge demand for grains and any production that can be bought up.

8) The food shortage is real (not hype) and is significantly worse in other countries. This will continue to affect the United States, specifically prices and availability. Basic staples and every other food product has continues to see enormous wholesale price increases.
